Walking Trees
I had a dream a few minutes ago. In it there was a party (not the fun kind, I was dragged there for reasons in the dream too boring to write down) and I was being hassled by someone why I was there. It wasn't the real reason, but I answered drawing. Asked to demonstrated I took a large glass plate with a drawing in the middle and

At first I drew an apple, which didn't turn out too good, then I started drawing trees.

I was transported to an African savanah as I drew where in front of me there were two trees and I was just inside the lip of a large curved hill area covered in tall grass. The trees both split halfway up and had small horisontal areas before going up again and ending in two seperate leafy tops, overall the structure resembling arms, one of them with fairly sparse foliage.

As I started drawing I knew that these were rare trees and I decided to draw more of them. As I did a new tree which physically appeared as I drew it I was worried they might be bunched too close together and crowd each other out, then one of the other trees started to move and covered a small distance before stopping again. As it did it lost leaves like the other one so I paused to draw in more leaves for both of them, which caused them both to move again and lose leaves, but not as many as were added in, so I decided it was good and I'd start drawing trees again.

I drew more and more trees and they started moving around a lot. In the end there were around a dozen of them over a good area and some of them were enough distance or moving in the right direction out of the hill area I felt they'd go and spread and make new 'herds' so I was happy. Some were low on leaves, a few missing almost all leaves on one arm or another, but instead of drawing in more leaves and causing them to move again when they were already all in good spots, I started drawing rain and it began to pour.
